I've got a 53 +4 with a TR-3 engine in it. Does anyone have a list of Morgan specific parts for that engine?

I've found the best place is Morgan Spares Ltd (US) - they seem to have exploded parts diagrams that I've not seen elsewhere.

Only Morgan specific part for a TR engine is the front engine plate.
When fitted to a Morgan, a Standard Vanguard front engine plate was used rather than a TR item
This has the mounting ears pointing backwards rather than forwards as on a TR front plate.
It's probably for this reason that TR engines supplied to Morgans had ME stamped after the engine serial number.

Er John...that's for the very early Series 1 cars (1936 to 1950) though, Coventry Climax and Standard Special engines not TR engined cars Arwyn

Arwyn, I pulled the radiator off the car and flushed it out with hot water. I got some slimy black mud out of it, and some stringy things that looked like earth worms. On a quick visual inspection I didn't see any corrosion inside. I will flush it with washing soda and see what else I get. I still need to pressure test it.

When flushing a rad, I use a garden hose, and use whatever I have to hand to try to seal it to the either the flow or return connection to the rad, and with the rad cap in place I turn the hose on full and flush till the water comes out clean then connect the garden hose to the opposite end of the rad to reverse the direction of flow. Carrying out this process a few times till no discolouration in the water worked well enough for me over the years..

This is for the '53 with possible corrosion issues. I used the hose and got out a lot of interesting things. I still need to pressure test it to see if it's solid.
