Found a little card I got from SGT many years ago for the EVA GT (still keeping my fingers crossed) the official spec was...

"New four seater coupe, BMW 3.0 straight six twin turbo with direct petrol injection
Rear wheel drive with intelligent suspension, 6 spd sport auto or manual gearbox
40mpg, 306bhp, 400Nm torque, 0-60 approx 4.5 secs, approx top speed 170mph
£70-85k circa tbc"

I think at the time a Roadster was 36k and an Aero 62.5k

In around 2003 the excellent Runabout was around 18995 and a year later about 19995 how times have changed, it was essentially a four four without Louvres.

Thats a nice car, anyone else think that the side mirrors dont really match and look like an afterthought? Also the holes in the door would get tedious here in our typical weather , though we have had v little rain since the beginning of December in Auckland.

Don’t think there is any roof or even a cover?

The original car came without any weather protection windscreen or side screens, my understanding is that each model would be bespoke so the options were wide open at this costing.

Murray Iagree the mirrors need sorting out just not in keeping with the slippery shape at all..

Although it irks me to think of an open car being sold in the UK without weather protection, I find it hard to imagine a soft-top arrangement that would still look good with those lines.

I can however see a swoopy coupé version with a more integrated roof and possibly a lift-out Targa section though, especially if they can revise the design to make entry/exit able to be conducted gracefully by older or less lithe customers?

/In the metal they look stunning apart from the silly wood bits on the door. I agree an aero style targa would be wonderful

The nice color enhances the look, but I still think any standard Trad or Plus Four looks better.

Oh yes, the color makes a positive impression, Jens. The car has elegance. But some time ago I wrote here that it's not the authentic look of a Morgan, referring to the first light-colored Pinnacle, and to be honest I think that the elegant rear doesn't really match the relatively steeply sloping front of the Morgan.
