In total agreement - they disapeared way before Sonic the hedgehog appeared and a GenZ just wouldn't even understand the question or care.

A real oxymoron.

My ex work colleague demands a car he can warm up and unlock from his phone, press one button to go, and charge up from his solar panels for nothing. I suppose that's 'Modern Standards'.

Sounds a bit like the old term people used back in the day to describe women as "pale and interesting" (boring) well I never found that and loved and still do redheads with a few pale freckles and characterful.

Fitted with dual sports exhaust helps too rofl

I was thinking more along the lines of draught and leak-proof! But as an owner of a car that I can pre-warm, unlock from my phone, and charge up overnight so fuel costs me 2p/mile, I have to say I can see the attraction! Let's face it, even a 40-year old sports car design is modern compared to a trad smile

I can warm up, unlock/ lock my car with my phone and of course I can start it by pressing a button.
But only one car.
My Morgan is not "simply clever" - but driving it is much more fun than driving my Skoda!

Well I didn't drive the car in January due to crap wet weather & roads salt. Today I nipped down to Felixstowe and the beach as it is sunny but 5c and 81% humidity.
Alas after 30 mins or so the misting was back.

It seems everyone who drive's a Mog in winter gets the misty gauges but have to say they dont seem to suffer and dry out unmarked. The jury is out whether the Lcd bit will fair so well. I must admit to using the roof quite a bit over winter with no misting with the heater on. Roof up only though.
