Gave her a thoroughly good wash n wax and required a good few miles drying run out in bright sun and 10C.

Lots of snowdrops in the hedgerows and our garden now with crocus and primroses awakening too.

Cooling ……took this photo on December 27th , 6 weeks ago ! I was shocked how far ahead Somerset was to London - daffodils not out yet in our garden.
Stay frosty, MM
PS Thankfully there is no room in London for bacon boys electricity pylons but I worry about Dorset, Devon & Somerset

I suspect that wars nullify any greenhouse gas gains we claim by Millibraining the issues. In the end I think that mankind (personkind), will have to ride the waves of change, as mankind has always done.

Yet the sea levels are predicted to rise nearly 7 feet by 2100, certainly where I live is predicted to be under water by 2050. Yet despite all the net zero infrastructure being built, no UK government is really doing anything about rising sea and river levels which will also raise the water table levels. Holland seems to be taking it very seriously, the UK will probably just surrender the land back to the sea. Shame they forgot about all the UK cities based on rivers many tidal which like Manchester/Salford/York etc inundated and flooded in this winters storms. Looks like even non-prime London addresses will all have a river view before too long.

Even Doncaster will become coastal with sea level rises. The outcome will be catastrophic, but nations prefer to go to war, rather than dealing with these inevitabilities.

Make the most of it ,the Atlantic current that bathes the UK with warm seas during winter apparently is close to collapse. Should that happen our winters will be very cold and harsh almost Siberian. The UK housing stock just wont cope with this type of winter as all our water pipes and drainage are too close to the surface and will freeze.

Not to mention how thermally inefficient much of the older houses are.
