Update and thread revival
I’ve managed to locate a set of ‘new old stock’ Austin Princess/Ambassador front brake pads from a chum with an MGB V8 conversion. Comparing them to the ones removed from my callipers they are identical
So the caparo callipers take the same pad as the Lockheed calliper from the Austin Princess
Quick search for the Austin Princess pads brings up mintex MLB52
The circle is completed
However as above talking with Mintex the say they can’t sell them for road use in the Morgan because they’ve not been type approved for the Morgan! I can buy them but mustn’t use them
Daft!
Anyway - my problem is solved.
2012 Plus 4 in Sport Green. Much comfier than the Plus 8!

Mintex MRM1801 work extremely well https://www.talkmorgan.com/ubbthreads.php/topics/806281/5Great on the road, these pads have also performed brilliantly at Prescott and Castle Combe too.
