went to elvington air museum yesterday at the same time there was a type of track day event on the runway with all sorts of exotic cars racing around and it was well attended.

I keep going back to look at that wonderful kite, it`s folding wings and contra rotating props, what an amazing example of engineering thinking of the time, thanks for posting it B3MOG

Deceptively HUGE. There was a Gannet at the Newark Air Museum when I went over, and the size is astonishing.

Nice run down to Caff & Mac (Bedford) for breakfast, then across to the Bell Plantation for coffee and cake, then a cross country hack home. Gorgeous weather.
