Long time away from Mogs, a dozen years or more (been driving Lotus (4) Harley, classic Mini, currently 1200 Bonneville and a TD5 110 utility) just wondering if I should get back in the saddle. My old log-in/user name disappeared so back with a new name.

Thanks Graham, it was your fault I left in the first place, should never have gone along on the trip to Hethel. BTW, some time since I've seen Tony Agg in the shop, has he died?

Welcome back
I too left the Mog family for a few years, approx 7, but instead of getting them out of my system realised I still wasn’t finished and succumbed at the beginning of last year. A trip to Brittany last year was fabulous and brought all the memories back although of course the drawbacks remain. Only you can decide whether you want another Mog in your life but I am happy that I made that decision.
My log in didn’t work either so am also starting again however if you type your old user name in the search “magnifying glass” you may find all your old posts, certainly mine are all there. No bad thing that my ramblings from years ago are now hidden!

No accounts have been deleted - so unless some data was lost in the transfer to the new server a few years back (unlikely but not impossible) or I was asked to delete an account by the owner, your old accounts should be still active.

Hi Richard, Yes, sadly Tony passed away a year or so back. I miss his humour and seeing his Aston. You have to admit, it was a great trip

Tony - old school gentleman - I knew his health was poor, the Aston sold for a few bob at auction https://cars.bonhams.com/auction/25...tre-sports-saloon-chassis-no-db4gt0169r/The Talkmorgan Hethel visit was memorable although I remember DaveW arrived in a VW Golf and Jay was driving a Mini Clubman

Indeed he was. He took me for a run up the hill in the Aston. Had to be a slow run as there were drivers out walking the course.
