Factory visit tomorrow and a few days in the Cotswolds the weather looks good. Em I'm there for a factory visit on Thursday, looks like the weather really improves as the week progresses.

Another GEG meeting this time at the Trowel & Hammer , Cotton, Suffolk. A nice pub with good food & beer. 138 miles driven as Hawki needed to go via the BMW Motorad dealer near Sudbury first. I spotted a very odd wire wheel on a new Voge m/c being unpacked plus a nice looking 1200cc Triumph & a boxer 750. We then met RichardV6 & the Morganeer for lunch. Run to the local garage for 36 month service & MOT at £319. Started off in torrential rain so hood up.
Car flew through the MOT but with one advisory a nail in the ns rear tyre.
So off to the tyre fitters in town to get it sorted. By now though the sun was out so fun was had. The tyre shop guys are car nuts on a budget so old Golf GTIs etc.
They always like my Roadster but raved over the CX & knew all about ali chassis etc.

Just come down from a stay in Scotland. Based near Inverness. On arrival there were several McClarens there en route to Orkney. One was a well known Talkmorganeer....Boshly! Great to meet the man behind the name!
Over the week we went to Ullapool to book ferry tickets to the Hebrides for September. Many good days out on longruns in ok weather over the week. Roads were pretty clear.
Applercross over the pass, Johm O'Groats, to name two. Monday saw us leave headed south to a hotel on Rutland Water for 3 nights. It rained until we hit the border then down to Rutland. Long drive on motorways. Rutland short runs under way. Met with another Morgan owner we see on Windermere weekends who stayed in the hotel too.
I'll sort some photos when home.

They all look great John, but I've got to say whoever owns J44 MOG has got themselves an extremely cool car. Love the colour and the black pack.
