Try https://classictravellingluggage.com if you want stuff to fit inside the car, or https://www.waterproof-cases.co.uk/category/peli-storm-cases if you want something waterproof to go on the rear rack.

Hi George,

Well I have the matching Hills alive fitted luggage and to be frank using the soft grip/holdall type bags are really a better way to go. The fitted cases are a pain to put in and get out and are such an odd shape when using as a case, especially when full that they drove me mad. We now use soft holdalls which obligingly fit wherever you put them, are comfortable to handle and don't cost £500. We have the trad rear luggage rack and one trip with the Morgan leather case felt like I was lifting the car into our holiday cottage! We now use a Samsonite case and Morgan leather straps to hold it in place if using the rack. The Samsonite case has rubber weather seals and fully clamps shut and is easily washed clean... Light as a feather when empty and quite waterproof. If you follow the hardened Morganeers who really use their cars for extended trips/holidaying you will see a huge variation of luggage styles but rarely a Morgan case inside or out! I think they are about as welcome as a wicker picnic hamper strapped on the back! But each to their own!

We had the Hills alive ones & loved them. Don't get the Morgan leather suitcase, it weighs a ton. We use this boot bag

Totally waterproof & low enough the cobra brake light works

As Sewin says "each to their own". We have Hills Alive (now Classic Travelling) fitted bags which we love because there's no wasted space, our seats do tilt forward which makes it much easier to get the bags in and out. For longer journeys we also have a leather suitcase (with waterproof cover) for the luggage rack (SWMBO does like to take the kitchen sink and several pairs of shoes per day!), not the Morgan one though. Personally I think that soft bags held on the luggage rack with bungy cords or the like don't suit the look of the car, but that's obviously just my opinion because I know that arrangement is very popular.
And to be more contentious.... I like a wicker picnic hamper strapped on the back innocent

I can't remember who it was that posted here but they had fitted a leather case to the rack, secured and locked to it, and used the case as a boot fixed to the car, with their loose bags and boots inside etc. I saw this after selling mine on and thought it was a very, very good idea and utilised the case in the best possible way and of course they look right on the car as Steve has pointed out. Had I seen this sooner I might have modded mine in a similar way.

We use soft holdalls that are easy to load. I did look at bespoke HillsAlive but not sucked in. £500 ! Look good but at a premium. The Morgan cases look ok but are big and heavy, again at a premium price! On the luggage rack we used a Bootbag that worked well. I added a couple of extra poppers to improve the seal of the flap over the zip.Changed to a "solid" case with a cheap cover folded over it. I added a removable high level brake light as the Cobra was obscured with these cases but not with the bootbag.
When going to play golf the clubs sit in the passenger side and electric trolley in a custom bag strapped to the rack. Change of clothes in a holdall/suit carrier behind the seats.
Monty, the cocker, often sits on the rear shelf, strapped in.
A dilemma with looks?
Bespoke colour coded or an adveturous look? Both fit a Morgan in my view.

My Morgan came with a fibreglass case trimmed internally to match the Mog`s interior. It seems that some time and effort was put into considering many aspects of the design, by Kevin the chap who created it for what was his Morgan at the time.

The case could be mounted to the rack using removable P clips, which could be fixed through the case with screws nuts and washers, to secure it against theft, it`s dimensions were such that it allowed rearward vision in the mirror with the hood on or off, the mirror able to be adjusted in it`s position on the windscreen pillar to suit, also it did not mask vision of any of the rear mounted lighting from following road users.

In use it was found that the best option was to make use of removable soft bag (s) inside the case for ones bits and pieces, due to both it`s weight when loaded and it`s paint finish, which could be susceptable to damage if lugging it around .. It worked well enough for us on our Southern European trips, though being a mid 80`s Trad, there was also usable room behind the seats that was made good use of as was the passenger footwell given my good lady was somewhat less than tall...(-:

That case reminds me of a Roadster I saw in Life's about 7 years ago. The owner had a custom made coachbuilt box for his wif3's wheelchair. It could be removed to leave the rack exposed.
I also seem to remember a 4-seater being converted by rear seat removal to leave a large storage area. It might have had a clamshell type solid cover. Last year while at Williams I mentioned it to another owner there who had a 4-seater. He said he'd talk to Williams about a conversion.
