CX's may continue to fall in value, perhaps leading to some bargains when compared to new prices
Especially when DIY maintenance comes into play. Like DaveW says, maintaining a trad yourself is a walk in the park, but many/most people are unwilling or inadequately equipped to do the same with a CX car, forcing them to pay main dealer prices for servicing.
