Or in this case, a red car......

Lots of rust patches coming through the wings, and it's a bit of a bugger having to colour match every time I do some work, so I thought it time to get the rattle cans out and spray her a proper colour. Just the wings to begin with, but will eventually do the whole car. She'll then match my Harley, my ZX, my MG, my clothes and my personality.

Proper colour! ... I believe mine went 2-tone with black wings as the previous owner competed it and found that facilitated the inevitable minor repairs compared to the red.

If you look in the top right corner of the site, you will see a red and black Roadster - that was my car, ordered new by me in those two-tone colours.

I loved it and, to my eyes, it looked superb.

Loving the look of yours and it brought back great memories.

TBM, I quite like the red n black two tone you now have, it enhances the classic shape of a narrow body Mog better than all black

IIRC, someone's had a new CX in red & black, spotted in France

Another vote for the red and black scheme.......!
It really suits the shape of the car and.... it looks more retro somehow....🤷🏻‍♂️

Saw a red/black period looking car image posted on TM the other day. Had to do a second take to realise a brave soul had asked for this scheme on a new CX. Certainly distinctive.

It'll stay like that for a few months at least, but probably hit the rest over the summer.

I find 'satin black' very forgiving

I'd leave it red and black, classic period combination.
