Day after

Just had 10 wonderful days first touring the Loire valley & then at the Morgan Club de France's 50th celebrations in Vichy which coincided with a Napoleon III festival.

1500 miles driven . The first day was torrential rain but after that hood down & v hot weather.
Thanks to Jim & Jo of Oxmog for the Loire valley tour & the French club for being so hospitable.

Very impressed by how you dress when going for an after dinner dance on holiday John 😁

That was the French we Brits were more upmarket & less flamboyant.

We left for Haverfordwest this afternoon in a bit of a drizzle top down. And then parked in Tesco while the wife had an eye test brought the umbrella out for about 15 mins then an other drizzle home. Stopped for fish and chips on the way back you can't possibly eat fish and chips in a Morgan with a roof up. Now parked safely in the garage with a heady mix of salt vinegar and leather. Us Morganeers know how to live........Em

I joined RichardV6 at the Gardeners Arms Tostock to enjoy the sight of a Major , a Ransome's Traction Engine in steam. They also do a great pint of Timmy Tailors Bolt cutter. As the weather is predicted to get wet & windy I also wanted to give the CX a run.

It wa great to be in the cx after being way in the USA driving a loan Mustang. The Mustang is really a big car compared to the Mog.

The CX felt far more aggressive, smaller and noisier. I loved it.
