Dear forum community,
My name is Franz, I come from Westphalia in Germany.
Here in the forum I have been very passively on the road so far, have looked in here and there, read a lot, dreamed a lot, dreamed many dreams differently, then did not look in for a long time.
Recently I once again met a Morgan on the street. I looked for a long time, picked up the phone and picked out the nearest dealer. He wasn't far away. So a test drive was agreed, already in the next few days, and fortunately the dealer came to me instead of me to him. So we were able to experience my home environment together with his Plus Four, and chat about Morgan on the way. To put it short: I was thrilled-of course. And I ordered. Not a Plus Four, but a Supersport. A few days later I was able to look at the supersport at the dealer, and also test drive. An incredibly great driving experience, very different from the Plus Four, but also very different and more pleasant than with my other cars.
So: car is ordered, in Brewster Green with dark brown leather, without hardtop. I hope it comes in the fall. to expand my British-inspired fleet of vehicles: Defender TD4 Softtop and Ineos Grenadier
And until then, I will empty the forum and the Internet with information. In a few weeks I will be in Malvern and look at the work - this is also something special for me and a reason for even more anticipation.
In the meantime, many greetings to England
Franz

Thank you for your kind welcome! I am also very curious about what kind of journey I am going on here. I throw two cars into the balance that will be replaced by the Morgan: a Boxster GTS 4.0 and an M3 Touring. Now some people will say "what a stupid idea to give away these great cars". Yes - that may be true, but the M3 in particular was not fun. He was too digital, downright hysterical and somehow exhausting. Just a real BMW M3. From Fisherman' Friend there is a saying: "if they are too spicy, you are too soft". Maybe that's true for me about the M3 too. The Boxster was great fun. But he wasn't great enough to keep him next to a Morgan. In terms of type, I'm closer to Morgan.
And after the big display in the M3, I'm looking forward to having a car again that is operated without a wiper display and has beautiful real hands.
Certainly I'm not the first one here who talks to his first Morgan, and who then wakes up a little unsly. But I'm not German enough to look for a problem for every solution. The Morgan will be my solution to the desire for a liberated drive with a view through the windshield. I discuss and solve problems when they are there. And as a Defender driver since earlier (Defender TD5 for rally, TD4 for everyday life, New Defender for trash cans) I know that problems are just a kind of consideration. A Defender must be built by the customer to the end. For some a problem, for me it was always fun.
Sorry for my english- its from a translator. But better than a letter puzzle from my keyboard

Willkommen Franz!
The trip to the factory in Malvern is a special journey - even more so when you have a Morgan on order.
I look forward to hearing more about your trip once you have visited.
