Nearly 15 years later we have the answer! It made £10,925 (including buyer's premium) at Bonhams Goodwood sale this weekend.

A even bigger bargain for a EU buyer.. expect a wrap is the best way forward. I hunk it would Ben about £2k to wrap it

I've always thought a Morgan would be an easy car to vinyl wrap. In this case, you could keep the original art but cover it in a conventional colour.
A wrap is relatively cheap, particularly where the original surface is in good condition. It can be changed at will while retaining and protecting the original finish.
We had one Morgan Club member in Sydney wrap his 2008 Aero with great success.

I once enquired about having mine wrapped a few years back, but with the wing piping,louvres, headlights and lots of fiddly small bits, he wasn't keen and reckoned it wouldn't be much cheaper than a budget spray job.
