As an expedient, I had my guys install some heavy duty clamps on top of the roll bars to which they attached some usb charged lights--these will act as brake lights without being constantly on. (I assume some kind of acceleratometer actuates the brake light function). I'd like to find a "correct" style of brake light to hard wire to the braking system. I know the Super 3 does not come with these as an accessory so I guess I'm after something traditional to Morgan that could be fitted to the clamps.
In addition, I suppose I can ask the dealer for the wiring diagram for the braking system- I would hope there would be an accessory harness that these could wire into so once I hit the brakes, the lights actuate. Although the temporary USB charged lights work pretty well, I'd like something more permanent.
Thoughts, ideas, input?

Bill: Greetings from far West Texas. I have long desired an additional brake light to install on top of my roll bar(s). I know that the motorcycle aftermarket has them, and will continue searching for the right system. In the meantime, I would like to install the accelerometer lights you are presently using.
Would you kindly share with the forum the make of the lights, as well as the make of the clamps?

Just my opinion but something as important as brake lights, even additional ones, should be hard wired to the brake switch.

I do agree that the hard-wired setup is optimal, but once I do that, the accelerometer light will go on my bicycle.

My tech is working on a more permanent solution wired into the brake light system. In the meantime, I bought a Vevor Deionizing car wash system on a cart- relatively cheap, and has a TDS meter. I washed the vehicle early this morning and used a two bucket method, a fancy car wash shampoo without any additives or polishes--made by Gyeon and used a drying cloth from Blackline, which is super absorbent and not a waffle weave. I also used my air compressor to blow out water in the crevices. I also used a light application of Lexol on the leather interior. Yesterday, my tech sent a guy to polish the dash, which I didn't really "get" but the results are amazing.
I put the tonneau back on after washing but the results are pretty stunning.
