Great video, lots of information about the history of the car, and Harry gets to drive it. Very exciting for him and for us viewers. I love his dry humour: ‘This car belongs to a farmer up the road.’ This refers to Lord Bamford.

Interesting vid, as a fan of Harry`s I had already viewed it. While I do not suffer envy, I think the mention of supposed farmers owning Ferrari`s may irk some less well off classic car enthusiasts in the present climate...?
I remember watching a vid where Nick Mason took another musician/car enthusiast for a short run in his GTO. while they both enthused greatly over the wonderful machine it undoubtedly is even suggesting it could be used for some of life`s more basic requirements...Jeez even a Morgan would seem to potentially be a far more practically capable machine than either of these two beauties....(-:

After all, a 250 GTO seems to be the best place to install a record player, as Harry explains, probably because of the soft suspension and the extremely quiet engine... so you can fully enjoy the sound of the vinyl records:

Vynil is best ….. My friends Philips EP 45rpm player in his MGA back in the mid 1960s was great on a smooth road but pants on most roads !

I’ve just looked up and the old EP players can go for £1000 plus now , more than the MGA cost in the 69’s …..funny old world.

Watched the video last night. It is great to see such cars being driven and enjoyed.

I had one of those in one my cars back in the day, not sure now which one probably my Wolseley 6/110 or the MK 3 Zodiac.

I'm an avid viewer of Harry Metcalf especially his farm one. the GTO vid was brilliant, would that I could be a poor farmer like Lord Bamford.

Ironically the weighty BEV motors with air suspension probably represent a better medium for an auto vinyl revival!
