Great pictures. Who needs a Chevrolet Suburban, when he owns a Morgan or a 2CV? I do have a GMC Yukon XL, which is the same as a Suburban. We cram people in there too! Sometimes with 4 car seats. Thanks everyone. I love this family.

Are there 2CVs in the United States? There are, but they are rare enough that every time you take it out you draw a lot of attention. Maybe more than the Morgan.

No I have not driven my Morgan today ! But it feels like I have…..
At the weekend I was packing up old possessions including books to bring back to London . Today I went through the books and two old books brought back a very fond memory of driving my previous plus 8 on just one day . It was 1974 (?) the car red and stunning, hood down, sun shining and on my way with a girlfriend for a weekend in Cornwall.
We often talk of smiles……well at some traffic lights a chap behind us jumped out of his car, rushed up and said I love your taste in cars, love the book you are reading (could only see one in the dash cubbyhole) and your ‘bird’ is beautiful. He was right on all three counts !
My wife has just asked me why Erica Jongs Fear of Flying and Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance was not in the charity pile !?
She is from 1979, was my next girlfriend and equally beautiful and my soulmate. Still however, a fond memory from Morgan motoring. MM
