I was appalled to read a news report this morning on the subject of our F35 aircraft.
Evicerated is a word I rarely use, so to be sure of the true meaning I looked it up to see what it signifies: " To disembowel (a person or animal). For example "the goat had been skinned and neatly eviscerated" or "removed of its essential content"
To describe our hugely expensive jet aircraft in this way exposes a scandelous waste of resources out of the public purse.
I wonder if it might not have been more cost effective to bribe our adverseries with those billions of pounds to leave us be. Danegeld.....?
