See above your post Bob ..

Shiny thing is in a garage close by so I trapped it but noticed the peanut butter bait had gone mouldy (Alistair noticed it tbh)..

Congrats to the crew who created a video which must be one of the best around in extoling the art and craftsmanship built into such an iconic piece of timeless automotive design...

Agreed George - head and shoulders above any other efforts I have seen on any Morgan, without seemingly being sponsored by MMC

Alistair has had massive tours and has custodianship of such a creature is amazing inmho.

To have had the privilige of a ride in her is a special memory for me, like nothing else with her very special interior and racing seats with hand crafted leather cushions..

I am a lucky man in many many ways.

VX13DDN was the factory demo car used in this video as well as Top Gear, The Geneva motor show and many other things.

My good lady saw the video and sent it to me as I was travelling and said "what about this is, it's a hard top and so should not leak" which was a joke concerning our current Series 2 at that time which did a little. I had hoped to use the Series 2 as my daily but it was not quite practical. The idea was that we could have one car instead of a daily and a fun one. She was a petrolhead as well.

Alex Goy who has made some really great videos under the X-Car banner and other threads was brilliant, answered some questions I had and said some nice things about Shiny as it became know in our circle. Daily, okay that's optimistic.

We took it on holiday, driving it down through France to Italy many times and it now has around 40,000 on it. It has not been trouble free but it made our world better in every way.

In Monaco they moved a brand new just released Ferrari 512TdF from the hotel steps and put the Coupe there every day. It was surrounded as people took selfies. In London they moved a brand new Rolls to put the car in front of the Dorchester. It does not matter where you go, people just go slack jawed and stare. Then there is the noise.

For certain reasons it is likely to be up for sale this spring. Things change.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.
