Could never see the point of remote greasing. You cannot see old grease being displaced by new as you can when greasing directly. You still need to remove excess grease (using an old sock) and then wipe over discs with brake cleaner.

I find my remote greasing kit very useful when touring - the trick is not to over grease. When I get home from a trip, it gets more thorough grease, removal of excess and a check. The decision to fit it came after a frustrating session in an underground garage at an Austrian hotel where the lights kept switching off and my only torch was an iPhone.

I have the remote system fitted by the dealer. I have DaveW"s gaiters fitted for probably 10 years and have never had to wipe off excess grease, 3 strokes every 1,000 miles. Current Wolf hard chrome kingpins fitted 25k ago and no play.

I prefer to get down 'n dirty, but have fitted top extensions - you can then access all whilst touring without needing a jack ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2018/09/13/Top-nipple-extn.md.jpg)

Did the manifolds come with kits ?
Your Morgan engine bay looks spotless, keep up the good work. Each kit comes with; 2 Bulkhead 2 swivel kingpin connectors 2 coloured caps (red= top; blue = bottom) You will also need to order the tube.
