The Morgan configurator shows a very thin (no painted shell) spotlight. Probably just a glitch in the software. But, if this actually is the spotlight which the factory will install, I'll pass on it and install normal looking ones later. Does anyone have any information on this subject? Thanks.

I did hear a tale of someone fitting spots to a CX and having problems getting them to work, car had to go back to MMC and have a software / BCU / CanBus ?? flash so it's brain knew they had been fitted - it was NOT a freebie ! and the invoice cost surprised him £££

Yes, retrofitting would need a software flash.

The spots on my CX have a painted shell, MY23. Can't comment on the later models.

The spots on my 2025 Plus Four are full depth body-colour painted - and showed as such on the configurator at the point of order. However, when I load the saved configuration it now shows the spots without the painted back shell - but also a gap between the connection to the car and the lens casing, so appears to be a software glitch. There have also been major changes to the format of the configurator since I used it last year.

The additional lights on my Plus Four are the same as on my Super 3, Cibie LEDs which are quite good quality. I'm happy with this factory option :

Wasn't brave enough on the day Jon. Last decision I made on the day. But Lotus Saffron Yellow works!

That Porsche Signal Orange is the best covering aerosol I've ever used. It must have a lot of solids to go on the way it does.
