A bit of a silly question and sorry for any thread drift, but how do I tell if my 2019 Plus 4 110 edition has the "sports" exhaust? Does it look different from the standard exhaust? Dave put this info a little earlier in the thread I would start by establishing exactly exactly what silencer you currenly have?
Morgan offered two different options, the part number will we laser engraved on the silencer.
You're looking for a number prefaced with 'MEX', I believe it's like this:
1. MEX 1107 is the noisier sports straight through silencer
2. MEX 1105 is the standard quiet version
If you fou find you have the noisier sports straight through silencer MEX 1107, fit a quieter MEX 1105.
Dave.

The part number is engraved on the front end of oval silencer at the top if standard system or on a stainless plate tack welded to top side of silencer inlet pipe if an optional sports system Adam. You can check with a mirror or phone camera in-situ. If it's an optional factory sports system it will have an AER prefix indicating it's an Aero Racing part. Both side and rear exit sports systems were offered for Plus 4 and Roadsters and have round silencer box.

If you want a really sporty sounding exhaust then I'd suggest a librands sport exhaust from the cat back with or without a side exit pipe. Concur with the Librands exhaust. Coupled with a side exit pipe it produces quite an effective audible means of approach.

Thank you Richard. I did a little digging and found out that the sports exhaust was a no-cost option on the 2019 110 Edition. Mine definitely exits at the back, not the side, has a chrome tip, and gives the occasional muted pop-bang on the overrun. I assume the original owner would have specified the sports exhaust as it didn't cost more -- I certainly would have. But perhaps he was a grownup.

My Roadster also made muted pops on overrun with standard exhaust Adam, so it doesn't really prove anything. However a very quick check is to peer underneath. If your silencer is oval cross section its standard, if round its likely the sports option.
BTW I have a copy of the 110 anniversary price list which shows the rear exit Sports system as a no cost option but strangely the side exit system not.

Thanks. My muffler is a 4500, and it's half as short as an 1105 or 1107. I'm waiting for a reply from Morgan to find out if my car has a sport or normal mapping, based on the chassis numbe

I also have a half length silencer, this was by choice when I had Monty's custom exhaust system fabricated. Admitedly Monty is quite loud, so at some point I will likely have a rear resonator fitted just to take the edge of the scream above 4,500 rpm You could do the same Massi_torini, there is space for a cherry bomb type silencer before the exhaust exits at the tailpipe. That would probably be enough to make it acceptable, while at the same time retaining some sporty character
