Much better with the plastic covers Andy, but still not perfect.

Heated windscreens are on the new cars. All they need to do is fit heated instrument glass.

In Italy you must have headlights on all the time on the Autostrada. The Alfa Romeo has headlights that go off when the ignition is turned off, rather like a motorcycle except you do have a light switch as well. I am in the habit of leaving lights on all the time. In fact if the Morgan does not work like that I very well may insert a relay so that it does.
