I like the color and the leather. Silhouette is very sporty, even with headrests installed.

Very nice and nice photos too.

I see your passenger has an excellent view of the speedo. I wonder why they put it furthest from the driver, it is probably the instrument most looked at.

It's closer to those who ride the car the wrong side of the road, Peter ;-).
Obviously the MMC does not want to change handbrake side and speedo for LHD cars...

The position of the speedo is down to tradition I think. Daft place to put it in my view! I ended up relying on the rev counter to check speed in my 4/4 and it was only when I took the dash off my Roadster that I realised the speedo and three cluster dial could be swopped round easily.

The Plus4 I drove at Williams at the weekend had the speedo in front of the driver and the rev counter furthest away which I didn't like.

My '93 Zetec has both Speedo and Tacho in front of the driver...

Jays is spot on - the speedo and the cluster are easy to swap if you wish. Mine was a RHD for Australia so my speedo was over on the LHS.....

I prefer the speedo and revcounter in front of the driver, and don't particularly like the current layout. The problem with swapping the 3 way with the speedo is that the steering wheel rim hides part of the dial. It would improve the current dash if the speedo was angled towards the driver.

The Aldermog was made with the speedo nearest the driver and the 3 dial unit on the passenger side.

It is OK, but I prefer the older "Jaguar" style with speedo and tach in front of the driver and 4 small dials above the buttons, but it seems this isn't easy to achieve with a Roadster.

You need to utilise the services of a certain German gentleman Peter! Nice machine turned alloy dash perhaps?
