I need to savour this next week, as it wont happen again for a long time!
I've just sold my Caterham R500 and will be viewing and hopefully buying a Supercharged +8 next Thursday!
The seller and I have been messaging since June last year and the wait is almost over.
I cant wait for the family to go out touring in the Morgans (I already have a +4) and looking forward to going out with friends for pub runs in both cars.
I remember seeing a turbo installation on an immaculate CVH engined /4 some years back at the Mog event held at Geydon quite a few years back, pretty sure I posted the pic in the forum some time back... Could perhaps dig it out again if there might be any interest..
Good luck with your new supercharged +8,i would certainly like to see how they have fitted it to your car,i had a supercharged cooper s which was great fun but a bit whiney,i also had a twin cam caterham back in 1976 when i thought i was immortal until hitting a tree with it and have had back trouble since.

Congrats - would love to see a picture or two of the supercharger installation - its on the (very) long list of possible mods I might do to mine....
Whilst I've always wanted a car with a Supercharger (I love the whine!), it doesnt really make finance sense..... This one was fitted back in 2002 at a cost of £18'000! The sad thing is that the current owner wasn't impressed with the performance so took it to Lloyd Specialist Developments... they noted that the injectors weren't big enough nor was the air flow meter. So all that expense (£18k) only gave 10-15 bhp. It is now 204bhp at the wheel (c.240 at the flywheel).
It would be cheaper to replace the engine and still get more power!
