I hate baseball caps. I will stay with my Barbour classic wool herringbone flat cap. Much more distinguished.

Come up the frozen North and you wont have that problem . The lads are correct a large peak on your base ball cap does the trick . Ah you say that but last week I was driving over from Hartlepool to wynyard after work and was blinded most of the way, typically I had neither sunglasses or a cap in the morgan, I resorted to hunkering down behind the dash and using my hand as a shade - some folks gave me a funny look and some waved back

I always keep a baseball cap under the passenger seat. I figure no one wants a "Linatex" (my old company) cap & if they do the loss is minimal vs driving blind.

If that gets any bigger you could use it for a car cover.

I use one of my old Chevron Junior Officer's Caps. Going to have to find a replacement one day...

Im surprised they did not hang you as a French Spy in an unusual car making funny movements with your hands . Thanks chaps for your advice which has saved me the thick end of £100. Went for a drive around Cirencester this morning in the sun and the baseball cap was great. Being a septuagenarian I still remember my grandfather wearing a flat cap, but not for me! Thanks again. Jack ___________________________ 2009 4/4 Sport
