Had an invite in from MMC:

Morgan Motor Company and Ranmore are delighted to invite you to the official launch evening of Ranmore Morgan, the newest addition to the Morgan dealer network and a new destination for Morgan in Surrey and the South East.

The Bell and Colville website currently shows them as Morgan dealers, though they don’t appear to have any stock. B&C don’t appear on the current dealer listing on the MMC web pages.

I hadn't realised that Bell & Colvill had moved, they are now on an industrial estate in Guildford. They are, of course, also dealers in Lotus, Subaru and McLaren.

I've not heard of Ranmore, but I see they are between Dorking and Reigate, about 10 miles from the former B&C site in West Horsley. According to their website, Ranmore Fine Motor Cars is "a leading independent specialist in Rolls-Royce and Bentley cars".

Sounds like it will be interesting and informative.

With just one week to go, we are busy putting the finishing touches to our new showroom in preparation for welcoming you. On display will be a stunning collection of cars, including some very special Morgans such as the Morgan Midsummer, the Morgan CX-T and their latest model the Morgan Supersport 400.

We are also delighted to welcome Jonathan Wells, Morgan's Chief Design Officer, who will be giving an exclusive design talk, offering an insight into how he and his team design these remarkable motor cars. The evening will also include welcome addresses from our CEO, Jonathan Tait, and Morgan's Managing Director, Matthew Hole.

I'll be there with SWMBO, I guess I was invited as Centre Secretary of their local Centre.

I will also be there with Mrs R, also had a call from them this morning to confirm our attendance. See you there Steve.

An interesting event, although I must have missed the talk by Jonathan Wells. Excellent new showroom, and we are all invited to sit on their sofa and talk about cars all day. Well equipped (to my eyes) service bay. I'll likely use them for servicing in the future once they are bedded in.

Went to a bbq a few miles from Betchworth on Friday, so decided to find Ranmore. It was on my route home in the evening but never noticed it before …..sadly it was not a place you could press your nose on the glass window to see what was up for sale. It’s a smart industrial shed with a closed gate.
Still I will pass it regularly and can see what they have.

The official opening was not until 6pm on Friday, likely they were still tidying up when you went past, but I agree, the view from the road is teasing, rather than showcasing.

Jonathan Wells was there, but didn't speak so you didn't miss anything HH. It was an enjoyable event and Mrs R even enjoyed herself, possibly helped by the liberal supplies of english fizz. Nice to see various models for the first time in the flesh, among them Midsummer, CX-T, Supersport and SS400.
Thank you also to the Ranmore team for their excellent facilities and hospitality.

I saw a small number of folk gathered around JW behind one of the SS400's, perhaps that's when he gave his design insight talk ... if so it's a shame it wasn't better 'advertised' as such, I'm sure that those who came along to see what Morgan was all about - and there were quite a few expensive non-Morgan cars parked outside - would have been interested.
