I think I passed before 8pm and nobody about , so it was a short event. I was reasonably dressed (unusual), wish I had turned up earlier to see the set up.

We left probably around 6:30 pm, but there were many staying on after that time and I suspect a few stayed a little beyond the scheduled finish of 7:00 pm.

We were passing Ranmore this afternoon, so popped in. Very chi chi, boutique hotel style, dimmed lighting type of place. Trouble was the car colours are difficult to see. A blue one was actually green! Sales person was very pleasant and helpful. The empty ‘champagne’ bottles were just inside the service department - you guys * drank a lot !
Really did not like the Supersort in real life in the two colours displayed. Managed to get in a long door Plus 8 and out with some dignity.. There was a 1999 +4 that was sold. It was immaculate, chrome wires & bumper, luggage rack, spare wheel, cobra light etc, Just like new. £26K Even my wife said we would have had it had it not been sold, just to get behind the wheel of a Morgan again!.
Don’t know if it was a TMer who sold it and who bought it ?

Now ready for our Spain, France, Italy, Croatia, Slovenia, Austria, Germany, Lux, and Belgium road trip next week. 6 or 7 weeks of fun hopefully.

The +4 looked to be in good condition but I didn't go over it in detail, I was more interested in the '97 4.6l +8 but thought that was priced a tad high (at the moment) at £42k. I was blown away by the nut and bolt resto plus upgrades Jensen Interceptor, It looked spectacular but £199k is out of my league.

Wife and I spent more time discussing the ‘silver’ Supersport, the one unveiled by Hammond, which really is lilac. I suspected that I might be tempted, but Catherine said it was a good colour for a gay man … so …

I quite liked the Plus 4 Super Sports.

Sorry MM didn't really look at the +4 much. The +8 was nice, but I don't think a +8 should be on wires. Julie did rather like the Supersport 400 embroidered seats but I still can't get past the minimal boot space and plastic door tops. I know I'm a fussy git, but a chap's got to keep his standards up!
