Hi all, after some time away enjoying my classic cars I’m coming back to a Morgan. I’m not getting any younger and keeping a 70 year old car up to scratch is becoming more difficult these days. Plus my recent house move to the Devon coast has prompted the need to reduce ‘stuff’. So in a couple of weeks I should have an ‘08 4/4 with some nice mods in the garage.
It’s been a while so I’m well out of touch with TM although I still keep in touch with my old Caramulo mates, SBM and Wirewheel.. of course the newer TM ‘ers will not know of our Wild Mogs run, but happy times and I still remember organising a TM member meet where we had 70 plus members turn up! Has the record been beaten?
Anyway I’m prattling on .. here’s to some more happy Morgan days ahead!

SteveT The Fossilmog annual summer picnic is planned for 9th September at Hive Beach, Burton Bradstock, Devon. Usually 70 + Morgans. No need to book, all Morgans welcome, just turn up late morning to the specially reserved NT car park.

Steve, 2008 4/4 is what I drive too. Welcome to Devon. I am up for a Morgan run should you choose you muster one. (Beware the potholes though) .

Thanks Chaps, going to try and get up to speed as it were.. also trying to avoid too much spannering but my Velocette has just decided to strip its timing gears 😔

I hope SBM and Wirewheel are both doing well? I've not seen them for years. Hi Tim, hope alls well and your guitar playing has improved 🤣 Ian’s been a bit poorly poor lad, but doing ok, Steve is fine, don’t see enough of them either especially since my move to Devon. Can you believe it’s 10 yrs almost to the day we all set off for Caramulo as the Wild Mogs! There may be some on here that remember the banter and fun we had. Keep dodging the bullets..

Was in touch with SBM a couple of weeks back. Not heard from Ian (except the very occasional update via tour guide group).

John met a Welsh bird (Wen) and moved up North with her on a river estuary somewhere, set up a little pot throwing area in the house for himself and sails around a bit on little yachts, Last I heard he was in a group restoring an old traditional boat of the area, he seemed contented after the sadness of losing his first wife through illness - Morgan helped fill that void for a couple of years I would say until Wen showed up and he picked up the reigns of his real life once more. He has had many different handles on here if you try to track him but a little tenacity will furnish you with the full story. Jays like Steve T are later joining members of the forum relatively

I have a recent photo of him with SBM. Steve (SBM) visits occasionally and keeps in touch.
