The Polestar is the only EV I’d go for…… if I was forced…..🤦🏻♂️ If only they were available in a colour rather than just shades of grey. Wrap it - the worlds your oyster, well any colour really.

Yes totally sensible, I never paid for "extras" on any of my company supplied units although there were inbred competitions among the sales numpties to see how much they could load the car up It will be very interesting to read her findings aligned with yours ater a while of living with it. Company use compared to private ownership has a tendency to remove the rose tints, thus reality, Tim excepted as he's a born analyst so accuracy high on his priorities.

It will be very interesting to read her findings aligned with yours ater a while of living with it. Yeah, she is dreading it, and we have had a lot of ranting. As a youngish small woman travelling on her own, she tends to get in her car and drive from home to client and then home again. She's not entirely happy about hanging around services on her own waiting for the float to charge. I'm a bit more pragmatic and am sure we'll be able work around it.

That is an aspect that flew right over my head, (like most things) of course it's a real security risk with the odd balls that visit these arears peddling God knows what all - I find myself avoiding eye contact, which is not a thing I do..
Get her a Cattle Prod - they liven up any party administered to the wedding tackle I am reliably informed..

She's not entirely happy about hanging around services on her own waiting for the float to charge. I know you said she did some longer runs; however, hopefully she'll find the Polestar 2 will give her enough range to get her to client site and back home without needing to charge. What I will add is that one of my colleague's wives was pushed down a similar path by her company - she also has to do site visits all over the UK. She was pushed the EV cc route about two years ago and hasn't had one incident when having to charge away from home. In my own experience, for the most part people seem to sit in their cars, more often than not using the 30-mins quick charge to have a nap or catch up on calls/emails. I've never seen people milling around charge points (more chance of that in the services themselves, most of which seem to have fallen into a state of disrepair, especially when compared to many of our European neighbours motorway side conveniences) and the closest I've come to any interaction is the rare person who wants to chat with you about EV range, etc, whilst waiting for their own car to charge (more common in good weather!).

Yep - that was the thinking behind getting an advertised 400+mile range What I will add is that one of my colleague's wives was pushed down a similar path by her company - she also has to do site visits all over the UK. She was pushed the EV cc route about two years ago and hasn't had one incident when having to charge away from home.

It's good to hear, but unfortunately not much consolation to the other half. It's never happened to me, and I know hundreds of women who've never been attacked walking home, but that doesn't make Bex feel any safer walking home on her own. I appreciate it's difficult for us blokes to put ourselves in the female mindset.
