Presently it is simply too hot for open top Morgan-driving.
That may be the reason you don't see any Mogs on the streets.
I once learned it the hard way in my 4/4 on a trip to Spain with temperatures above 30°. No AC means no fun at high temperatures.

+Croatia
Decided to shoot down to Croatia for a swim in the sea.
Never been to Opatija but it was very smart …the grand old dame of the riviera. The onward coastal drive to Medulin was great. Ideal Morgan drive if only…. Everyone says Croatia is now expensive but we are finding it cheap. Will take in Pula tomorrow for the antiquities.
Still no sighting of Morgan. Perhaps it will be Stephen888 +8 years in that we will catch sight of as he heads from Villach to Ljubljana!

Hotspots like Hvar will burn through your Kunas - visited a couple of years ago and a few candles lit in a backstreet bar and ‘hey presto’ we can charge twenty quid for an Aperol Spritz.

An Italian tour guide told us that in the past the Italians went to Croatia for a cheap holiday but now it’s the other way around.

Just arrive today in Kefalonia and they are not using the new non EU entry system otherwise it would have been chaos in their little airport - three Brit flights arrived close together.

It’s now euroland money ! HaKunas has gone metata ! No worries…… enjoy Kefalonia.

Seen a Morgan after 6 weeks !!! Actually Stephen888 popped in to use the loo on his way from London to Croatia ……meeting his other CAAR car friends in Ljubljana this afternoon.
Really nice to meet him and his Plus 8, one year older than my Plus 8 but his was working . ..
I think his road trip has inspired me to open the garage and find my car.
Best to him and his mates, safe driving, everyone and their cars get back home safely.

Been pottering around Austria and Italy the last few days enjoying the mountains and food but having spent 7 weeks abroad it was time to come home .
Morgans are as RARE AS HENS TEETH …..Having travelled 5104 miles in those weeks we did not see one Morgan other than Stephen888 somewhat planned meet up !
For those planning a road trip via Germany try to avoid the monumental roadworks near Pforzheim A8 . That was just seriously horrendous for people going in the Stuttgart direction .it was even on the German TV news yesterday . I know John from Lytham has planned a route next year and
intends to stay in Landau . Thought we might stop over night rather than just a quick visit this time . Nice town, nice buildings but as there was a festival and busy we went to the outskirts in Nussdorf. A place with no shops but 20 wine producers . The smell of the new wine in every street was unbelievable and intoxicating . No restaurants, no people nothing open …..we finally found them in a wine producer on the outskirts of the village partying and eating at a wine producer that has a restaurant once a week thank god. The Riesling served in large glasses thank god !

Nice to be back in London last night trying to miss Lime bikers jumping red lights, whilst pissed, them not me !?
Think we will start planning another holiday today……..
