I was out in the pissings of rain, most of yesterday. it gently remined me of the gaps in the door sealing, just running a few errands, a really emjoyable drive. Great to be cossetted by all the wood and leather around me, like being in some London Private Members Club. The heated seat was on, and all was good with the world.......don't quite get the same feeling in any other car I've owned..........turned a cold wet miserable day around.

Topped up the fuel tank, just short of 4 gallons for about 220 miles, can't complain about that , covering a mixture of dual carriageways and urban driving into centre of Liverpool on Sunday to meet up with family, over from Dublin for the match,for a day out together.. Of course, needless to say first time they had seen this Morgan, so loads of posing and pictures seated in the car .........good weekend of fun.

It's only when you see the look on the faces of others at what you have, do you reflect, as to how lucky you are to have a car they lust after. Warts and all, Morgans have a strange effect on people and the CX standard of finish and trim, shows it off exceptionally well.

Lovely. My daughter lives near Lark Lane in Liverpool. Hell of a drive from the Essex coast, but more fun in the Morgan. An adventure.

I don't think it's a 'lust' after our Morgans. I get more of an impression they're genuinely happy to see them around. The comments I get seem to be friendly and admiring, smiles, rather than the "rich twat" responses you get with Porsches and Maseratis. I like that it makes people smile.

I came out of a local shop the other day and two elderly ladies were admiring mine. They asked if I'd built the kit up myself! 😄

I love the admiring glances. Three young boys were taking photos as I passed them. Shouted - nice car.

Still find it fun driving driving in the dark (4am) with the roof down(at least for a short period). Upto Stranraer for the Belfast crossing.

Bit of a knee trembler driving into the city centre though. Coastal road tomorrow.

Nightcap of the black stuff in Fibber McGees and a snooze in the Europa then up the Falls Road, M2 and the glorious Antrim Causeway Coastal route upto Derry for a couple of nights.

Brooding skies followed by 25 deg C side panels off time.

Goodwood revival the weekend probably my last too many posers and seriously commercialized. To cap it all 56 quid for two nights to park the car in Bornmouth. The racing as good as ever.
