Bit late, but some things I noticed;

On the 3.7 Roadster;
Sump clearance is much improved. smile
Knee clearance is (much) reduced. frown
Dashboards is much less nice (put mildly) shocked2
Power and torque look fantastic woohoo
Time to 100kph has increased? thinking
I think I still want one, the dash can be fixed (MK) but the reduced width of the footwell is a bit of an issue.

On the Aero coupe;
Its gorgeous love
Is the dash made of plastic? pale
Tax alone in NL will be about 50k euro. ranting
Would have liked the seatback more inclined to get comfy (head was touching the roof) but seats are not adjustable. ooo Unfortunately that will never bother me because of the NL price tag.

On the +8;
It looks much nicer in the flesh than on pictures. love
Dont like the wheels and looking at the clearance around the calipers I think more trad looking wheels might be difficult.
Same issue with the (CO2) tax. banghead

On the M3W;
I had the pleasure to test drive it (not in Geneva). Its a blast!.
It goes well, engine is sweet and rev happy, it handles well, suspension works good. Tranny is a bit noisy but only on decelleration, not a problem. Only difficulty was fastening the seatbelt! Personally I wouldn't buy one but I loved the experience.

Cheers J

I feared that the dash would not be so nice on the new Roadster. Digital displays in a Morgan ! Who ever heard of such a thing? Disappointed to hear of the reduced knee and leg clearance as well. I am deciding between a Roadster and a Plus 4 and this could push me towards the Plus 4.

It’s a shame the old V6 is gone. With such a huge power increase between the 3.7 Roadster and the Plus 4 it would be nice if Morgan could increase the power of the Plus 4 a little to make it more of an intermediate model.

Grab one of the remaining Plus4 Supersports then love

Agree with you re the dash.....digital just don't work in a traditional looking car and what I've seen of the dash , it looks a bit awkward as well.

Hi SFO
Sure you can BUT....tuning the plus4 will never make it similar to the 3L (3.7L) V6.
I had my plus4 up to 195 bhp and it is TOTALLY different from the mkIII Roaster I have now. Personally I enjoy the Roadster much much more. A matter of personal preference I guess. If someone is at that decision point, the best advice is go for LONG test drives in both cars and go into red mist mode and lazy cruising mode in both. Remember a tuned plus4 feels like a normal plus4 below 4500rpm (but noisier).

Furious four or silky six? I prefer the six - though sub 30 mpg is the nom (incidentally the 3.7L is in a higher road fund licence bracket than the euro 5 3.0L) you can never have too much power flag as for the dash in the 3.7, it wouldn't put me off, it's something you can change if it bugs you. The apparent loss of knee room is less welcome frown

At that price you should be able to chose the dash you want.
It's not the fact that it's digital, it's the fact that it's ugly. What do you look at all the time youre on the road............the dash.
They lost the plot with the Series 2 dash, but this is far worse, and probably enough to put me off.

I agree. But would it not be possible to Request an old style dash as part of the bespoke service. After all Morgan talk of the "endless" possibilities of a bespoke Morgan and there would seem to be no technical problems to fitting a different dash. As matters currently stand that awful dash is a deal breaker for me.
