Just a quick Hello to everyone.
I've been a massive fan of Morgans since I went to the motorshow for the first time in 1988 at the tender age of 11. I have always vowed that one day I would have one.
I'm now approaching that age where I can think of purchasing my dream.
I recently attended a factory open day, did the tour and drove all the latest vehicles and now I'm hooked.
Just got to make up my mind whether to go trad or aero now.
I'm sure you'll see a million and one question threads popping up over the coming weeks and months.
Look forward to meeting many of you at various events.
James.

Welcome to the madhouse. Once you've done the factory tour, there really is no turning back..........

Evening James, and welcome. Don't worry about asking any question. I expect nearly all of us have asked the same questions ourselves.

regarding the cars. Visit your local dealer(s), and take a few test drives. The car will find you (as we have said to others on this forum) not you find it.

I'm sometimes based in Hereford which is not far from the factory So would more than likely buy direct.
I'm back for their next open day on the 28th. More decision times. I fell in love with the Areo coupe, but also love the Plus 4 supersport. Why can't I have one of each? Oh and a 3 wheeler. I've never driven a car that's so much fun!

James, whatever you decide, you will have loads of fun!
I am a fairly recent recruit to Morgan motoring and apart from the pleaseure that I get in driving and caring for the Mog.
I have been very grateful for the help and assitance I have recieved from Talk-Morgan folk who are knowledgable, and willingly share their experience through the pages.
There are lots of views about Morgan cars given by the motoring media, but I have found that each assessment of the car completely misses the best feature which is the camaraderie and fellowship shared between owners.
With a Morgan - you don't just buy a car - you buy into a fraternity of folk who like driving, largely they put a lot into their cars and get a lot more back.
Oh' and another good reason for owning a Morgan is the smile that driving one brings - to the owner and almost everyone else you might encounter on the road!
All the best
Tony
