Dear all,

How do I identify if my engine is a Zetec or a Zetec-E.

Looking on the web talks about plastic inlet manifolds, steel sumps and naming on the cam cover.

Looking at my engine and the web info it seems a bit ambiguous. The reason I want to know is so I use the correct oil as (according to www) early Zetec were prone to sticking valves if the correct Ford oil was not used. Being born in 1997 my Mog is on the changeover between the two types.
