All of the above... we wait to see what tomorrow brings...
It does however show the potential of the car and we are resolved to get it working again.
Down side is that with all the cancellations of races this season and other conflicts, it does put our season into jeopardy. We'll be working out what's possible now and how best to take on the championship with what's left of the season outstanding.

Hi Cerealsurfer
I wish you and your team most success and all the best. I like it very much to follow the posted developments she gets. It is very enjoyable and entertaining to read your posts regarding the proceedings of her. You are a real no compromise intensively focused - very competent - aficionado. And you are a windfall to enrich this forum.
Take on, this engine issue is something you and your team will cope to see a positive future.

having seen Cerealsurfer and missprint at Curboro a couple of times, from the startline marshalls point of view, I have found this thread fascinating reading. keep persevering, hope the engine rebuild isn't too harmful to bank balance or seasons prospects. good luck.

When you win, and I am sure you will (you only get out what you put in) this will look like a minor set back.

I know how you feel, cerealsurfer. In my case apart from the crankshaft and surprisingly the cylinderhead nothing was reusable - not even the engine block. There are still 3 lonely bespoke Mahle pistons on my shelf...

Looks like we have a way forward, a temp install whilst a replacement engine is built. We should be back out on the track ready for the race at MIRA on the 26th May.
