Indeed, I've just been posting the news to the three wheeler group and Mogtalk.

Truthfully, I think it's a mixed blessing as we'll have to wait and see how insurance companies react. It's always been a condition of cover that a vehicle was maintained in roadworthy condition, so a MOT test which legally was only valid immediately after the test was not discharging this responsibility at all. But pre 61 commercials not used for commercial activity are already exempt.

So, I can now just tax (free) my three wheeler and go...

So what is the list of cars that we are able to virtually run F.O.C, no M.O.T, NO RFL and can run on chip fat or water let me know !!

How about this one,

Runs on water, tax free, but as its post 1960 it'll need an MOT smile

What about one of these? RFL is free, also runs on ponds (drinks them!) and a bit of scrap wood and coal. British made !!

Mind you, my annual Boiler Certificate ain't cheap... nor insurance come to think of it

Wouldn't have had rubber 'tyres' when it rolled off the production line in 1920 but I wouldn't want to drive it on a metalled road without them nowadays! drive
