Several orders were taken in St. Tropez for the productionised version of the car, based on the driving experience, and there is no reason why the Aero should stand or fall on the North American market alone.

Anyone requiring any more verbatims, is free to attend our luch-time Aero assignation on Friday this week. Please feel free to PM me for an invite. smile

Lorne,

I know Flaving is waiting for a black Aero 8 demo. It should arrive within the next days. I'll have a look and take some pictures.

Sorry Roderich, but this car will be completely different to the one we drove which was a genuine prototype. The model concerned will not be launched until well into next year. smile

Aero IV? thumbs

That would make the 'limited edition' Aeromax the Aero that was built most often. (I assume there are more than 100 S1s but with different hoods.) grin2

Depends on if you count the variants inbetween!

I believe, as BtG is keen to point out, he has 1 of 1 of the Aero 8 v2.71 models.

(for those without their Haynes manual close to hand - the only one produced with side air vents... grin2 )

Aero Chassis numbers now over 600.

My series 2.71 (as correctly identified by Simon wink ) is chassis number 327. Whilst I cannot remember when the series III started I would comfortably bet it was before number 500 which means that significantly over 100 series III Aeros have been made. If I have that wrong it would mean that over 100 Series II have been made so either way more than the Aeromax. thumbs

100 Aeros 8s in less than three weeks. Busy time in Malvern, but maybe some of us were wrong by the end of last month.

I'm definitely wrong....

Pretty sure the number was over 600, but maybe I have got it wrong, wouldn't be the first time doh

I'm sure Aeroman will put me right when he gets back.
