In the case of burglar alarms, I happened by chance to have a few unused alarm in the garage. They hung on a side window and consists of an indoor and an outdoor unit with siren. The alarm is activated by remote control outside the car. I tried this today on our 4/4 and it turned out that I could not touch the door until the alarm began ringing. Does anyone have experience of similar alarm?
Or what do you do when you park your Morgan in a place unattended.

Yes! And I set it for middle sensitivity.
May be I am to anxious about the car. We had a H-D Ultra Electric Glide for 15 years and had no accidents about damage by people during the years.
This time we are going to park the car outside a Hotel by the highway E18 between Oslo and Stockholm. The motorcycle we tried to park behind the hotels or in a garage.

Part of the fun of having a Morgan is coming back to a car park and finding a complete stranger sitting in your pride&joy, waiting for you to take her photo. Happens in France regularly; not yet in UK.

I have to say that I would be seriously unamused to find a complete stranger sitting in my car....

I sometimes just disconnect the battery. I added a switch to my battery cable. This will thwart any thief momentarily.
Sometimes I go to start my car, and forget the switch is set for the thief.... ooops.

Mmm .. not sure I want to return to a stranger in the car - flattering as it seems. Harmless I'm sure but I'd rather not.
