Bugger it, ordered a Mark 4 Moto Lita. Do not fancy doing another stint with the wooden one. So I will probably have a wooden one for sale later, go nicely with a walnut dash? Many thanks for all your replies.

I have the MotoLita riveted wheel which is nice to look at but it is a bit thin. I really had in mind the thicker walnut rim. I like to hook my thumbs over the lateral spokes and I like the idea of a composite wheel with perforated leather where I hold the wheel and polished wood for the rest of the rim. Somehow though I keep thinking it may finish up looking a bit naff.

I ordered a MotoLita with leather for my Roadster. Hoping to have it fitted at the first service. Never been keen on wood rims... Ian

I am happy with what I have but would not mind trying the thicker rim. http://www.moto-lita.co.uk/our-products/Wheel_Details_01.aspx?WH_ID=20
