A broker is prepared to give me £800 for A11OGE. Even though I did not put this number on the car (1st owner did some years ago), if ever I sell the car I will leave the number on, but might bump up the price a bit  though

There are a number of MOG plates currently for sale from the DVLA;
For example W90 MOG at £399
or Y999 MOG at £399
I have V2 NUT on my motorbike; a plate which a certain member of this site has shown interest in! The local Harley Davidson/Ducati dealer also made me a decent offer for it last year.

If he is going to give you £800/- what's it worth to him . I keep looking at it and trying to split it into letter's as they do today and look for a name etc .

Someone suggested that you can make with the use of a black screw A 1'1OGIE, eg a mogie.
Never would have realised it myself.

Please bare in mind since the introduction of  the  have clamped right down on this, i myself had the S2DRR as 52 DRR on the old Steel pressed Plates, although never stopped i have now reverted that plate back to its original format, 3 points and £60 fine comes your way if the so desire. It is also now compulsary for the Plate manufacturer to use an automated machine that spaces the Digits equally, I regulaly see Van Sales guys at Markets and i believe they do the custom shows, making you any plate you want, these of coarse are totally elegal. Be Warned. I must say i do see some states, what people have in there head about chopping up a plate to make it look something  , KAREN= K 4 12EN X who's kidding who

In Aus - pays your money and get anything you like up to 9 characters (in WA at least)....
I'm personally not a fan, but here in WA do like the black metal plates with white letters (matches my car better), so I went for the UK registration as delivered back in '76.

I picked up an 03MOG plate for the standard £250 from DVLA last week, well pleased as the preceeding two letters are my initials.
