The Lampredi 1600 twin-cam used by Morgan in the 4/4 (1981-1985) originally belonged to the Fiat Argenta. Towards the end of the production of the 4/4 T/C, of which 93 cars were produced, there were 10 of the cars that were fitted with a 2 litre engine, both types being normally aspirated, unlike the 2 litre engines that were fitted to the revived Plus 4 range, which was fuel injected
