Please indulge me with this post.

It appears the boat I have been building is complete...... "Milford Star" (a Caldercraft kit) - Scale: 1:48, Length: 933mm, Beam 165mm. Fitted with a Tamco 3 channel 2.4Ghz RC (steering, power lights & smoke). Runs off a 12v 4.5 amp battery. She awaits her maiden voyage.

Quote from the build instructions:-
"The side trawler "Milford Star" can claim an unusual pedigree in that it was first built as a wartime minesweeper. One of eight small Round Table class sweepers she was built at Aberdeen 1941- 1943 their hull design being based on that of the trawler "The Star of Orkney" built by Hall Russell of Aberdeen in 1936.
At the cessation of hostilities the vessels were sold out as fishery protection vessels and trawlers, Milford Star is one of the latter conversions."
