Earlier today in Normandy, 47 Commando Royal Marines made their way to the beach from a landing craft to begin a ‘yomp’ across the fields to their commemorative event in Port-en-Bassin to pay tribute to their forebears.

Richard thanks for that picture. That is a modern LC Vehicle they are disembarking from here is a picture of my Troop in a good old LC Personnel back in the 70s.
