One of the reasons I've always had an open top car all my life, is because roof down you experience the whole journey differently from the clear view of the sky above, the wind rush, the warmth of the sun and the smells you experience from the area you are passing through always for me heightens the enjoyment of the journey
Driving through Glencoe is a completely different experience in an open-top.
