I have car mats to protect the MMC carpet but hadn't found a way to fix them so they didn't move.
sticky velcro eventually failed & I didn't want to drill into the floor.
So I bought these
Universal grips from ebay.
You cut a hole in the mat and fix the locator ring & then align with the prepostioned grips. It works for me
