I did not know Basher, but RIP "Basher". Just for my knowledge, did he stamp always his Basher mark in the bonnets he made? Then I have to check my 1990 4/4! 15 years was a long struggle. Thanks for sharing this, Peter! 🙏🏻
1990 it would be possible. I am not sure when he started stamping "BASHER" on the bonnet hinge. He did tell me something about it once but I don't recall the details. It was something he started as a thing he thought was amusing and since nobody objected he kept doing it. Here is an interview with him.
