I see more and more people using AI in there personal lives and so thought it worth sharing a little nugget in case it gave you a laugh.
In general AI conducts itself in the manner of Sir Humphry off Yes Prime Minister. All humble and polite. (For those of us not bought up on Engrish TV, see here for a great comedy/satire/documentary on politics )
It will normally take your request and provide thought/opinion enforcing content supporting your views.
However it does offer what is commonly called Potato Mode. This is where it can be put into a contrarian mode which can be good to test your logic.
You essentially instruct it to perform this until told otherwise when you start a request with the key word, usually potato but it can be others.
Anyway if you want to provoke consideration of an idea it works very well.
A good example would be if a well known yellowing potato had asked any AI chatbot if illegally starting a war in a well known hotspot would be helpful.
It's a bit like having an argument with one of the many voices in your head but faster and more difficult to disable using Alcohol apparently.
Anyway I hope it adds something to your experience.
I am going to raise a feature request with Anthropic (see recent press about refusing to support war etc) to enable a Tramp mode where it rambles, exaggerates, lies and generally refuses to see sense.
