We regularly did 100 miles in the hour in Germany back in 1978 as the top speed was around 124 so cruising really.
The fuel tank comes out from below once you have removed the straps and fittings etc, wooden block and trolley jack to lower it before flushing it out.
I dropped mine in German to fix a leak with the Radio Stations 350Watt Solon assisted by a Gaz lamp blast. It worked too.
