As you say, retro-futurist mumble mumble pretentious words about styling I can't think of. blush

I went to try a Noble GT3R which is about as missile toy as you can find. About the same price as the Aero S1 sitting in the showroom next to it. I looked, laughed and wondered who on earth would be daft enough to marry Frankenstein. I took out the Noble and it was a missile but stank of glue and plastic, had no rear vision to see blue lights, felt like it was assembled using a single spanner etc.

Maria told me to take the Aero out and I laughed all the way around the test drive. V8 sidepipes and surprisingly good traction and handling. Also a laid back vibe which did not take itself too seriously.

Oh, looks like it was me that was going to be snogging Frankenstein.

Yet the ugly duckling grew up to be the AeroMax/Coupe, probably among the most traffic stopping things I have experienced across all viewers.

Trying to replace it has my brain melting.
If it is as wild then it's a bit over my "look at me" threshold, they look at the car not when they see the Coupe.
If it is as stylish it simply does not have that raw speed, V8 growl, naughty aspect which you can get away with in the Mogs.

When I get wound up by the central locking going puff or the horn going to a peep note I just remind myself it means I am not driving it enough.

But the odd thing is that even after I was lucky enough to have the Coupe (and was meant to sell the S2) I still loved the daft goofy grin of the S2. Possibly even more for being all the drive that the Coupe was but seriously deceptive. Pull up a the lights next to a boy racer and pretty much all of them could be left cold given the room to do it safely. New BEV cars you have to be more circumspect about!
